- 10:00am – 12:00 pm: Presummit Drug Free Moms and Babies (DFMB) Meet up
- This is a meeting of the multi-disciplinary teams working in the Drug Free Moms and Babies programs
- 1:00 pm-4:00pm: Substance Use in Pregnancy Committee Meeting
- Meeting is open to any West Virginia provider that cares for pregnant or postpartum women with substance use disorders and their infants; members of the WV Perinatal Partnership Substance Use in Pregnancy Committee; public health professionals; Managed care organizations; and state policy members.
- This pre-conference meeting will provide an opportunity to share information specific to working with families affected by substance use disorder, learn about the latest evidence-based strategies for reaching and treating this high-risk population, and identifying on-going barriers to effective care. The meeting will have a specialized focus on the role of the peer recovery coach and integration of these members into the health care team.
