DESCRIPTION:PSI’s Advanced Perinatal Mental Health Psychotherapy Training is an evidence-based curriculum designed for mental health and psychotherapy providers who have previously completed at least fourteen hours of perinatal mental health training. This advanced training covers differential diagnosis\, evidence-based psychotherapeutic approaches\, and advanced therapeutic issues. It combines expert presentation with case studies\, group discussion\, and practical examples of treatment approaches. This course or an equivalent six-hour advanced training course is a pre-requisite for the Perinatal Mental Health Certification\, in the mental health/psychotherapy specialty. DESCRIPTION:Monthly Webinar Series – “Empowering women to choose the birth control method that works for them!” \nEmpowering women to choose the birth control method that works for them! \n\n\nFollowing the training\, participants can request to receive the materials discussed for use in their practice. Materials include posters for clinics and offices\, education grids for patient discussions\, and patient education cards for handouts to clients. All materials are commercial-free and provided at no cost to training participants. \n\n\nBy the end of this presentation\, participants will be able to: \n\n\nList different methods of contraception\, their uses\, and risks and benefits of each\, including resources for factual information about different methods of contraception and myths about birth control\nDemonstrate methods for assisting women to learn about birth control using a client-led approach and interactive education grid\nIdentify ways to build rapport\, and overcome barriers to access to contraception\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThese trainings are offered once per month. SUMMARY:2025 WV Outpatient Breastfeeding Champion Training
DESCRIPTION:The WV Breastfeeding Institute and the WV Perinatal Partnership present the 2025 WV Outpatient Breastfeeding Champion Training by IABLE\nThis training is via LIVE webinar\n3 sessions\, June 3\, 10 & 17\, 2025\n8:00 AM – 1:30 PM EST Each Day \nAbout the Training\nThe IABLE Outpatient Breastfeeding Champion (OBC) Course is a basic\, clinically-focused course for any person who is a medical or community breastfeeding/lactation supporter. We provide instruction on how to answer the most common breastfeeding/lactation questions that a family will have throughout the course of lactation\, into toddlerhood and beyond. \nCOST\nRegular cost is $250 per person WVBI price $150*\n*A limited number of (free) scholarships are available\, if you are able to pay the reduced price please do so and that will allow others to take the training as well. \nRegistration\n1.) Click this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/OBC2025 \n2) At the end of the pretest\, there is a link to the WV Perinatal Partnership website to complete the demographic information needed for registration. \n3) Once the registration form is completed\, you will receive an email from Mandy Quick within 48 hours to access the IABLE website and complete the IABLE registration—including the discount/scholarship code. \nRegistration includes a copy of the Outpatient Breastfeeding Champion Handbook ($20 value) with shipping within the US. Books shipped outside of the US incur additional shipping fees. We will contact you if this applies to your registration. \nRecordings\nAttendees can earn credits through any combination of live participation and/or viewing the recordings. A link to the recordings will be emailed to registrants within 2-3 days following the webinar. The recordings will be available for 1 year.\nPlease note IABLE’s policy is to not permit registration for our events\, nor access to the recordings\, after the event has occurred. These include policies of our accreditors and speakers\, technical issues\, and fairness to everyone who has registered. Sometimes the recordings will be available later as an eCourse. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.\nAAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)™ toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA\, Prescribed credit earned must be reported as Prescribed\, not as Category 1. \nCERPs\nThis course has been allocated a maximum of 14.5 (L) Continuing Education Recognition Points (CERPs) by IBLCE. CERPs approval #CLT117-04. \nRNs\nAll state boards for nursing licensure approve of educational offerings that are approved by the American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC). DESCRIPTION:Monthly Webinar Series – “Empowering women to choose the birth control method that works for them!” \nEmpowering women to choose the birth control method that works for them! \n\n\nFollowing the training\, participants can request to receive the materials discussed for use in their practice. Materials include posters for clinics and offices\, education grids for patient discussions\, and patient education cards for handouts to clients. All materials are commercial-free and provided at no cost to training participants. \n\n\nBy the end of this presentation\, participants will be able to: \n\n\nList different methods of contraception\, their uses\, and risks and benefits of each\, including resources for factual information about different methods of contraception and myths about birth control\nDemonstrate methods for assisting women to learn about birth control using a client-led approach and interactive education grid\nIdentify ways to build rapport\, and overcome barriers to access to contraception\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThese trainings are offered once per month. DESCRIPTION:Monthly Webinar Series – “Empowering women to choose the birth control method that works for them!” \nEmpowering women to choose the birth control method that works for them! \n\n\nFollowing the training\, participants can request to receive the materials discussed for use in their practice. Materials include posters for clinics and offices\, education grids for patient discussions\, and patient education cards for handouts to clients. All materials are commercial-free and provided at no cost to training participants. \n\n\nBy the end of this presentation\, participants will be able to: \n\n\nList different methods of contraception\, their uses\, and risks and benefits of each\, including resources for factual information about different methods of contraception and myths about birth control\nDemonstrate methods for assisting women to learn about birth control using a client-led approach and interactive education grid\nIdentify ways to build rapport\, and overcome barriers to access to contraception\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThese trainings are offered once per month. Register above. \nTrainings are appropriate for clinical and non-clinical staff\, as using the same reassuring and non-judgmental language is imperative to build rapport and allow free flow of information.\nCEUs and CME’s will be provided.\n  \nIf you are interested in having a site-specific training\, an in-person or virtual training can be planned for your office.
