SUMMARY:It Takes a Community - Grant and Surrounding Counties

DESCRIPTION:TeleMaternalHealth 102: Conducting Effective Video Visits and Virtual Examinations in Maternal Health\nBuilding on the first webinar in this 2-part webinar series on improving access to maternal health\, we will focus on the clinicians’ ability to conduct and properly document effective video visits. \nBy the end of this webinar\, participants will be able to:\n\nBuild confidence and competence in practicing video visits.\nIdentify appropriate use cases for TeleMaternal Health in prenatal and postpartum care.\nDevelop inclusion and exclusion criteria for your clinic to determine when a video visit is clinically appropriate.\nDevelop effective rapport with patients during video visits by applying strong “Webside Manners” skills such as eye contact\, tone\, and body language.\nCreate a therapeutic virtual environment by managing background\, lighting\, sound\, framing\, attire\, disruptions\, and privacy.\nComplete clinical documentation for telehealth encounters that meets modality\, payer\, and practice requirements.\nObtain informed consent during virtual visits\, including discussing privacy and limitations of care.\nAssess patient safety risks\, escalate care appropriately\, and respond to clinical emergencies remotely.\nConduct appropriate physical exams remotely\, guiding patients and integrating exam data into care plans.\n\nWho Should Attend?\n\nRural OB/GYNs\, Family Medicine Providers\, and Midwives\nMaternal Health Nurses and Nurse Practitioners\nClinic Administrators and Practice Managers\nTelehealth Coordinators and Support Staff\n\nRegister Today\nRegister Here
